A blog I just found, Food and Beverages in Hungary, talks about these yummy treats- kürtöskalács. "Kürtöskalács is the oldest Hungarian pastry. It translates as chimney cake. It is originated form Transylvania. It was originally made by wrapping the dough around the chimney pipes.You can find more information about it here."
